As you can see from the picture it looks to be ready for the trash bin. This the seat exactly as the customer sent it to us.
It's hard to tell from the picture above, but the customer has a 3/4" deep cut out in the foam that was crooked and very uneven.
We straightened out the cuts and the rough edges of the seat. The I glued down a thin 1/4" black rubber base.
Then add 1/4" Memory Foam over the rubber base.
We then added a 2nd 1/4" Memory Foam layer.
At this point
the entire seat was sanded and shaped to smooth it out.
A final covering of 1/2" memory foam was glued over the entire surface of the seat making the seat perfect.
Prior to installing the cover we add a moisture protector over the entire surface.
Final step was to recover and clean the surface.
